Sway Soturi

Born and raised in Taiwan, Sway grew up training as a team handball player and a competitive swimmer. She relocated to San Francisco at age 17 and since has lived in Orange County, NYC and Hawaii.

After having her first child, Sway decided there was nothing more crucial than teaching her son the importance of a healthy lifestyle. She enrolled in Baby Boot Camp as well as training with a personal coach that led to a major personal transformation and 45 pounds lighter. For the first time Sway felt physically, mentally and emotionally capable of the tasks on hand: a love of fitness was born.

Once back on the mainland, Sway pursued a degree in fashion design, but her love for fitness and self-improvement grew stronger. She realized simply putting clothes on people wasn't enough, she wanted to make them look good from the inside and soon began studying for her NASM personal trainer certification.

With her love of food and her understanding of nutrition, she felt the NASM program came up short on addressing the importance of healthy eating, this led to her study with Precision Nutrition, a world renowned behavior change nutrition school.

She believes the best way to help her clients are through consistent continued education, listening to individual needs to provide progressive exercise programs and implemented recovery as well as strong emphasis on a healthy balanced diet. She believes in disease preventions through nutrition and movements and coaches the "one habit method" for long-term sustainable results. 

For Sway, healthy living is not just a job but rather life's passion and purpose (to help others). 

When Sway is not training or cooking you can find her gardening, cooking, reading, backpacking and enjoying all amazing things that life has to offer. Also, she loves to sleep!
