When I first started working with Sway, I was far from my health goals. Gradually though multiple (and might I add difficult) training sessions, she taught me that with persistent effort and commitment to making healthy choices I could achieve my goals in and out of the gym. Over the past several months I've learned to maintain a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and exercise that have significantly improved my mental, physical, and emotional well-being. I'm grateful to have worked with Sway as I am confident that these habits will help me achieve my goals and cope with the challenges I'll face through medical school and as a practicing physician. I hope to share the lessons I've learned with my future patients to help inspire them to take an active role towards improving their own health. Thanks for everything, Sway!

Sway is the most electric, energetic and enthusiastic instructor I have ever worked out with. I have been attending her HIIT class once a week for the past several months now and it is by far my favorite class. I have tried out so many different types of classes with other instructors, but I keep coming back to Sway’s class for more, as she just has so much to offer. The energy and versatility that she brings to her classes is amazing. Week after week, she comes up with different exercises and workout styles and never lets you get bored. I come to her classes all excited looking forward to experimenting with different types of workouts, be it circuit or partner or any other crazy type of workout. She has made me stretch my limits and made me realize that I can work harder and get so much stronger than what I believed I was capable of. Even though these are group classes, she pays personal attention to each and everyone in the class, even somehow remembers everyone’s names, helps them correct their form and instills them with so much energy and motivates them to give their best in all workouts. I am a big fan of Sway and hope to continue to work-out with her for as long as I can. Thank you Sway!

When I workout, I like a challenge, and Sway definitely makes you bring your A game in every class she teaches. The great thing about her style though, is her personable friendly approach to motivate you to push yourself harder then you would on your own. Sway makes doing painful exercises almost bearable and the great thing is at the end of class you get a high five and a cheerful smile. Sway has something for the workout noob to the grizzled veteran, so if you want a fun, kick ass workout you'll definitely give her a shot! I wasn't paid for this testimonial :) although I should be!!!

Sway is the best Strength training instructor I have ever experienced. I have worked through her classes for about 6-8 months pretty consistently. I love her training method and the fact that she increases the level of exercise performed every class I have attended. Another thing that I really admire about her is the way she engages everyone in her class by not just traditional individual exercises but also involved group training in a circuit fashion which makes the sessions not just harder, but more fun as well. She definitely loves doing what she does and she conveys it to her regulars and also takes care of the first-timers with appropriate modifications. During a typical HIIT class with Sway, the only thing in my mind is ”Will I be able to do it properly today?”. But she makes sure everyone gets up to the tune (and whenever she screws up, she’ll be nice enough to do 5 burpees for us). After this class, I definitely feel very tired, but at the same time, pumped up to do more. I have had a big body transformation journey and Sway definitely gets a partial credit for my results. I lost a total of ~50 lbs throughout and it was when I hit a plateau after losing about 30 lbs (minimally around the waist line) by just doing cardio. I desperately joined HIIT (and other strength training) classes in order to get over my frustrating plateau and improving my diet at the same time.

I always enjoy going to Sway’s HIIT class. She’s constantly looking for creative ways to challenge us both physically and mentally. What I enjoy is not knowing what to expect-keeps us guessing what we have in store but I always know that it’ll be interesting and fun. I appreciate her going through the proper exercise execution in the beginning and giving different intensity level options. Form and safety is always emphasized during class and that’s important for overall muscle and joint longevity. My fitness goals going into class was to improve my V02 max and overall cardiovascular capacity. I have seen improvements here and I feel better overall!

Sway's class is engaging! Its never boring! It ranges from partner workouts to stations to individual workouts. Always keeping your body adapting to something deep. Sway is always positive and puts a smile on your face even after a hard workout.

I've been taking Sway's classes weekly for about a year, when I started I had never taken any kind of organized workout class or worked with a trainer, it's been so much more effective than just working out at the gym by myself. Over the year I've seen a ton of improvement both physically and mentally and a lot is due to Sway's efforts. After consistently coming to the class I went from barely being able to make through the whole class to upgrading from eight to fifteen pound weights and my resting heart rate dropped fifteen bpm! There's also been a mental improvement and I found myself looking forward to workouts now and have felt more confident with myself.

She makes every workout different from the last keeping it exciting and is always open to suggestions on exercises or formats that people enjoyed so she can keep integrating them in to future classes. During the class there's always a ton of energy from the music blasting and from Sway motivating us to keep working. Even when the class size is larger than normal she's able to take some time to focus on each of us to make sure our form is right and that we're pushing ourselves to work harder. The best part of coming to her class is that she gets to know everyone as more than just their trainer, but also as a friend allowing everyone in the class to be comfortable.

Sway Soturi

Exercising and eating healthier not only helped me drop 45lbs it also gave me the freedom to care for my newborn. Knowing what is good for my body also gave me the knowledge of what is good for my family! 

I naturally crave healthy foods now and there is no way that I will ever go back to how it used to be. It is not just that my body is different, it's the whole new me on every level.
